Quick answers

The questions Singaporean travellers ask most.

How much does a typical family rental cost?

For a family of four going to Japan for a week, expect roughly S$400–600 total — covering jackets, ski pants, boots, base layers, beanies and gloves. Compare that to S$1,500–2,000 to buy the same gear new. Each extra week is roughly S$15 per item. Use code BORROWED10 for 10% off your first weekly order at popsicle.asia.

What if my kid doesn't fit anything when we visit the rental shop?

Popsicle.asia carries full size runs from baby (0–2) up to adult 5XL across thousands of items. Same-day swaps if a fit is off — no fuss.

How early should I book?

For Dec–Feb (Japan, Korea, Europe peak), book 6–8 weeks ahead. School holiday weeks (early Dec, mid-Mar, mid-Jun) are the busiest — popular sizes go fast.

Do you do corporate or school group orders?

Yes — popsicle.asia kits out school ski programmes and corporate offsites regularly. Group rates start at 10 people. They can run an on-site fitting day at your office or school.

What happens if our flight is delayed and we return late?

Singapore Airlines delay? Stuck in Hokkaido? Just message popsicle.asia. They don't ding loyal customers for things outside their control.

Are you the rental company?

No. Borrowed Winter is an independent editorial publication for Singaporean cold-weather travellers. We're sponsored by Popsicle.asia, but we have full editorial control over what we recommend. See how we're funded.
